I'll be out of commission for a week. I'm busy with this big life event where I'm wearing Casablanca 1827 with sleeves added on, then I'm going on this cruise with the most amazing boy alive.

Waited So Long

I wore this in my engagement pictures, and I shared that I bought it and waited so long to wear it just because I had a hunch an engagement may be coming. I am loving wearing this dress! I wore it for a presentation for a board I sit on for my church full of CEO's, judges, and congressmen. I felt classy and still young- I am in love with everything about this dress!

Cold Front

It's been a cold winter, we've even had some freezing days with lots of dead plants as a result. This was one of the few days I got ot bundle up living in AZ.

"Love Music" - Earth Wind&Fire

When I thought of "Earth Wind & Fire" my mental image consisted of this getup:

This was a tough one for me as I've packed most my clothes and moved them to the fiancées house (oh yeah, t-minus one week til wedding). White girly details just kept coming to mind, so that's what I went with. Not to mention I think white dresses deserve a lot more wear than just spring and summer.

Orange Groves

I have been very lucky to live in orange groves the past 2.5 years. Our trees produce so much citrus you could feed a homeless shelter (most our neighbors do just that)! I love that I wake up and pick an orange or grapefruit for breakfast all winter long- it's really a cool thing. I'm going to ignore the fact that scorpians burrow in orange trees and just celebrate my last 2 weeks of living here before I get hitched and move in with the fiance. I have been feeling the color orange lately- probably the lamenting of missing my beloved trees.
