I have bronchitis. Maybe I'm the only person who does this, but to compensate for looking green and feeling terrible I tend to dress up a little more on the really sick days. I can tell my teenage students are still lovin' the 80's rocker look, because I haven't had so many compliments from students since I can remember! It was kind, it's nice to hear shallow teenagers approve, even when you look like you're trying to be David Bowie, a little green on the edges, and you feel like curling up under your desk.

My kids flip out anytime I wear jeans and chuckers. Little do they know, we teachers have a tendency to rock the skinny jeans every now and then.
