Changing Things Up
My little sister pointed out to me this summer that I am a Euro-inspired dresser with everything tailored and a classic look. I think I've been in a little rut lately, and decided to try something so not like me. Billow-y shirts are not my favorite thing to wear since I'm abnormally small up top and slightly large on the bottom. I figured why not try it once, and while I'm at it, let's go with a super unexpected color-combo and throw in some Army-green pants. After a little gold I was happy. I know it wasn't the hugest risk, but I think I'm finding my fashion bravery again!

Confidence
I haven't been the best blogger this summer, I think I needed a break and a chance to dress for me again. I am a firm believer that at the end of the day what you know and love is what you'll feel the most confident in. Can I just say that nothing does it for like a pair of khakis and some version a blue button up shirt? Call me plain, call me boring, but I think I feel more academic, more professional, more sexy, and more me in all variations of this outfit than any others!
Anyone else have something they know won't fail? I'd love to hear it!

Back to Work
I teach at a year-round, thus it is already time for back-to-school. I've been prepping by actually getting dressed and not wearing my gym clothes for most of the day!
Thanks for your patience, I will actually start taking pictures again now that I'm free of gym clothes and painting clothes.
